Revenue recovery calculator

What your denials are actually worth.

A revenue recovery calculator is only useful if you can see the arithmetic behind it. Ours is below in full, with the benchmark behind every assumption, so you can check the logic before you trust the number.

How the estimate is built

  1. Denied dollars. Annual claim volume multiplied by your first-pass denial rate, multiplied by your average reimbursement per claim. Industry first-pass denial rates ran 11 to 15% in 2025. Experian Health, State of Claims 2025
  2. Prevented at source. Pre-submission review catches the documentation and coding defects that cause the denial in the first place. We model 40% at the low end and 62% at the high end, the upper figure being what a multi-site SUD network measured in 90 days. Resilient Recovery Treatment, customer-validated
  3. Recovered from the rest. Of the denials that still happen, roughly 40% are never reworked because manual appeal labor costs more than the recovery. We model 50 to 70% of those overturning once the appeal carries the right evidence and citation. Industry write-off range, 35 to 60% never reworked

Prevented plus recovered lands between 52% and 73% of what you currently lose to denials. The calculator applies your own numbers to that same arithmetic.

Worked example

A behavioral health group running 60,000 claims a year at $180 average reimbursement, denying at 12%:

Denied claims per year7,200
Dollars denied per year$1,296,000
ConservativeUpper
Prevented at source (40% / 62%)$518,400$803,520
Recovered from remaining denials$155,520$137,894
Annual opportunity$673,920$941,414

The upper case recovers less on appeal because more denials were prevented before submission, which leaves fewer to appeal.

Run it on your numbers

Three inputs, your work email, and your organization. The estimate appears as soon as you submit, using exactly the arithmetic above, and sales opens the conversation already knowing your volumes rather than asking you to repeat them.

How the check runs

Four weeks. Four checkpoints.

Same playbook we used at Sobrius and Resilient Recovery, adapted to your modules and your data.
01

Intro & scope

30-minute call to scope: which modules, which time window, what data formats you have. We send the NDA and BAA same day.

  • NDA + BAA in 24 hours
  • Mutual scope in writing
  • No data shared yet
02

Data ingest

You ship EOB/835/837 files or CSV exports (or PA submission logs). Inference runs inside Microsoft Azure under our BAA. Nothing goes to external LLM APIs.

  • SFTP or secure portal
  • De-identification by default
  • Audit trail per query
03

Analysis

Adentris runs the requested modules across your data. Coding QA against the underlying chart references. Denial root-cause clustering. PA cycle benchmarks.

  • Coder/clinician review of edge cases
  • Confidence scoring on every finding
  • Specialty-aware rule libraries
04

Findings & report

You get a written report with recoverable revenue estimate (with confidence bands), prioritized action list, ROI math vs Enterprise pricing, and the top-50 specific items to chase first.

  • 30-day delivery target
  • Walkthrough call
  • Yours to keep regardless
By module

Five modules covered. You pick the entry.

Module
What we find
What you get
Documentation QA
Gaps, inconsistencies, missing co-signatures, attestation drift across the last 60–90 days of charts.
Gap report by service line, by clinician, with estimated denial risk.
Prior Authorization
PA cycle times, denial root causes, missed peer-to-peer windows, unfunded days for BH.
PA TAT benchmark vs payer average, recoverable revenue from missed extensions.
Coding QA
E/M under-coding, missing add-ons, modifier errors, NCCI bundling, LCD gaps.
Dollar uplift per 10 claims by specialty, by coder if applicable.
Appeals & Denials
Unworked denials below dollar threshold, parity-eligible appeals, win-rate by payer.
Recoverable revenue projection, top-50 priority appeals queue.

Revenue check FAQ

Common questions.

Skip the form. Talk to sales →

01 Is this really no-commit?

Yes. The revenue check is a fixed-scope engagement: you ship 60–90 days of EOBs, denials, and PA submissions. We review them. You get a written report quantifying recoverable revenue by denial reason, by payer, by service line. You decide what to do next. Zero obligation to purchase.

02 What data do you need from us?

EOBs and 835/837 files (or CSV equivalents) for the last 60–90 days. Optionally, PA submission logs from your portal, fax, and voice operations. We work under a one-page mutual NDA and a BAA. PHI is processed inside Microsoft Azure under our BAA, never sent to external LLM APIs.

03 Which module is the revenue check for?

Any of the five. The check covers whichever module(s) match your current pain. Most BH and SUD platforms start with Coding QA + Appeals & Denials. PE-backed specialty groups start with Appeals. ASCs start with Prior Authorization. We'll scope on the intro call.

04 How long until I see results?

The check completes in 30 days. First findings typically surface within the first 10 days. Final written report includes recoverable dollar estimates with confidence bands, prioritized action list, and ROI math against a scoped Adentris agreement.

05 What happens after the check?

You get the report. If you want to move forward, we scope a 12-month agreement tied to your provider count and modules. If you don't, you keep the report. It's yours.

06 Is this different from a paid engagement?

Yes. The revenue check is a no-commit analyst engagement on your real EOB and denial data, delivered as a written report. It costs nothing and carries no obligation. If the numbers justify moving forward, we scope a deployment from there; if they do not, you keep the report.
