Acceptable Use Policy.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the Adentris platform, website, and APIs. By using Adentris, you agree to this AUP. Violations may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action.
1. Permitted use
Adentris is licensed for healthcare revenue integrity and compliance use cases by B2B customers — hospitals, health systems, behavioral health networks, multi-location specialty groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and authorized RCM partners.
Permitted activities include:
- Reviewing your organization's clinical documentation, claims, prior auths, and discharge summaries through the platform.
- Generating draft appeals, queries, and discharge summaries for human review.
- Configuring compliance rules and payor-specific logic for facilities you operate or represent under contract.
- Granting access to authorized employees, contractors, and clinical advisors within your organization.
2. Prohibited use
You may not use Adentris to:
- Violate HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, MHPAEA, or any applicable healthcare regulation in your jurisdiction.
- Process PHI belonging to organizations or patients for which you do not have a Business Associate Agreement and lawful purpose.
- Submit fraudulent claims, falsified medical necessity documentation, or upcoded charts.
- Reverse-engineer the AI Web Agent layer, scrape platform output for competitive benchmarking, or build a competing service from Adentris data.
- Use the platform for non-healthcare purposes, individual/personal review of your own medical records, or any consumer-facing use case.
- Bypass security controls, access other tenants' data, or attempt unauthorized network access.
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer the platform without our written consent.
- Use the platform to harass, discriminate against, or harm patients, providers, or third parties.
3. B2B-only registration
Self-service registration requires a corporate email domain. Common free email providers (gmail, outlook, hotmail, yahoo, icloud, proton, aol, and equivalents) are blocked. Phone verification is mandatory at registration for fraud prevention and account security.
Enterprise accounts are provisioned by our team and bypass self-service gates; only authorized individuals within the contracting organization receive access.
4. PHI handling
Customers handle PHI under their own signed BAA with Adentris. Each customer is responsible for following their organization's PHI policies on the platform, including:
- Granting access only to employees and contractors with a legitimate need.
- Configuring role-based access to enforce minimum necessary use.
- Reporting suspected breaches within 24 hours to security@adentris.com.
5. AI output review
Adentris produces AI-generated findings, code suggestions, appeal drafts, and discharge summaries. These outputs are decision support, not final clinical or coding decisions. Customers are responsible for human review before any AI output is submitted to a payor, patient record, or regulatory body.
6. Service limits
Free and Starter tiers have per-category monthly limits as published on /pricing. Excessive usage, rate-limit evasion, or attempts to circumvent metering will result in account suspension.
7. Security & reporting
We welcome responsible vulnerability disclosure. Report vulnerabilities to security@adentris.com. We commit to acknowledging reports within two business days and coordinating disclosure timelines with reporters.
8. Termination
Violations of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension. Severe or repeated violations may result in termination and referral to law enforcement or regulatory authorities. Customers may export their data for 30 days following termination.
9. Reporting violations
Report AUP violations: abuse@adentris.com.
Security incidents: security@adentris.com.
Legal: legal@adentris.com.
10. Changes
We update this AUP as the platform and regulations evolve. Material changes are announced to active customers by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
